PLACEMENT GUIDE
Set it where they already walk.
Follow the droppings, gnaw marks and greasy rub marks along skirting boards and pipe runs. Set the trap at right angles to the wall with the bait end nearest it. Traps in open floor stay empty.

How long before I catch something?
Mice often investigate within hours. Rats are wary of anything new on a route they know and can take two or three nights to accept a trap, which is normal rather than a fault.
Is it safe around pets and children?
There is no poison involved, so nothing toxic enters the house. The trap still snaps with real force, so place it behind appliances, inside cupboards or anywhere a child or pet cannot reach.
Can I reuse it after a catch?
Yes. Open the jaw over a bin, rinse it if you want to, and reset. There is no need to sterilise it first.
The bait keeps disappearing without a catch.
Almost always too much bait. Reduce to a pea-sized amount pressed firmly into the cup, and make sure the trap is sitting on something completely flat.
